Dynamic, Distributed Document Indexing

The new zPaper:Index solution grew out of our clients’ need to handle
compound inbound documents comprised of pages related to multiple
patients, employees or new customers. Often the indexing function and
the document specialists were not co-located. Our clients also needed to
measure productivity at each stage of this distributed process. We custom
built this solution several times in the past 8 years, but now find a need for
a customizable product which can be easily configured for our
Salesforce clients.

zPaper:Index combines the zPaper features of Inbound Document
handling, Routing, Data Entry, Document Split and Attaching with the
ability to process a compound document by its logical components – all
driven by a highly customizable document workflow engine in concert
with Salesforce.

With zPaper:Index, an Indexer can easily break down an inbound set of
documents by its logical structure. Then “smart code” the resulting
component documents at the page level for follow on processing by
specialized groups anywhere in the world. The Indexing process
culminates in a set of documents and index fields automatically updated
in salesforce.
